Second week- bring it on!

Guess who lost 6 lbs last week?!?!!

I did!!! -)

It was nice going to work today feeling 6lbs lighter… and since I am keeping these first few weeks of WW to myself (I end up sabotaging myself if I tell people at work, for some reason) it was fun for people to guess why I was in a better mood than usual! I went to the farmer’s market next to my office today -very convenient- and bought a carton of fresh picked strawberries (MMMMM!), 3 kohlrabi (they are like a cross between a cabbage and a radish and broccoli- I peel them, cut them up raw, sprinkle salt on them, and eat them like chips- here is a link to what they look like: kohlrabi) and 2 bundles of red and while radishes. I love summer fruits and veggies! The market is weekly, so I will have to ration until next Tuesday…

I am going with friends to a lake house this weekend, so I am going to try to save all my flex for then. I went shopping for the food with a friend, and I did try to get lots of fruits, veggies and “Waist Friendly” food, but she is not worried about her weight and bought full fat everything. I did happen to get Flat Outs for the pizza crusts and lots of veggies for a crudite plate though, so I guess I won something.
