Mos tif you know I live in a big city in the midwest, and tonight we were hit with some horrible storms. This is the 6th severe storm we have had in 4 days… 2 hit today- one storm at about 3:30pm and one at 6:15pm. 74 mph winds, torrential rains, roofs blown off, and over 2000 trees (some of them over 100 years old) are uprooted. Crazy, I tell you!! I have lived in the Midwest for over 25 years and I have NEVER seen training of storms like this before. (Can you tell I wanted to be a meteorologist when I was in high school?!?) LOL
Anyway, my boss returned to work today (YIPPEE!!) and my stress level went down by about 50 percent. I am so happy to have her back!!
Now to my goals:
- Eat 5 servings of Fruits and Vegitables a day (got 4)
- Walk 30 minutes a day (walked for 30 minutes)
- Eat a healthy breakfast each day including protein and veggies/fruit (no breakfast today – oops)
- Drink at least 44oz of water a day (I had 75oz of water today)
- Think one good thought about myself each day, write it down and look at it alot (You are a smart, caring woman who is loved by many)
I did not have a chance to post yesterday, but I hit all of my goals and walked for over 50 minutes (in the sweltering heat) but I was extremely porud of myself!!
TTFN- and know that I am still catching up on your blogs!!

Yay for less stress!
My hub loves the to track storms and chase tornados and all that stuff – but they’re a lot milder here in the south than they are in the mid-west. I’d pee myself if he thought that he could drag me out into a storm the size ya’ll get. I hope everyone made it though safe and sound!
Have a great weekend!!
I hope that you are okay and that the storms hit you.
Great job on your goals. I love #5!
