My last post fom earlier in the week regarding the move to ATL…
I now have until Monday to make my final decision.
SO NICE of HR to let me have a few days to make the biggest decision of my life.
I have fully left the first few stages of grief and an fully in ANGER. OK, not just anger- I am PISSED.
No one, no company should EVER treat a fantastic employee like I have been treated.
My confidentiality was breeched. BY THE HR DEPARTMENT.
I was told I needed to add more work to my job b/c I did not have enough work to do (Total bullshit)
They are playing me like a violin, knowing damn well I have NO OTHER OPTIONS due to this shitty economy.
6 1/2 years of AMAZING work that I have done for this company, and they treat me like dog poo.
I have never once asked for a raise.
I never once complained when they changed my job description every 6 months for 6 1/2 years – and when they changed the JD, they always gave me shit jobs no one wanted to do. And I happily did them, to be a team player and help the cause.
Did I mention I work for a large international non profit who HELPS EMPOWER WOMEN AROUND THE WORLD?? I am not making that up.
They have not given me any reason for me to move other than ‘Because we said so.”
I am scared that I will be moved to a CITY I HATE AND DON’T KNOW and then 6 months from now they will say “well, we don’t have a place for you anymore” a nd I will be STUCK AND SCREWED.
I can’t afford to buy a car and give first and last month’s rent for a new place. I am not even sure if I can get a loan right now the the economy so bad. F*ck.
I have alot to think about before Monday.
I hate this.
