Lose the Negativity

So I am trying.

Reeeeeally hard.

Earlier this week I said I would try to think positively and work my way out of this FUNK I am in.

I am about 30 percent there. :-) hey, it is better than 20 percent, right?

3 months ago, after BEGGING my HR department to start up a Weight Watchers at Work group, I decided to take matters into my own hands and send out an email asking if anyone from my office wanted to join WW. I got a response from 30 people interested, so I set up an informational meeting.

then I found I was being laid off from said office.

Then Noah and his Ark decided to hang out for a few weeks and wreak havoc on downtown Atlanta by allowing almost 12 inches of rain to fall in 7 days, so we had to postpone the meeting.

We finally has the meeting over a week ago and now I am waiting to get money in — hopefully everyone will pay before I head back to Chicago. I am still happy to “manage” the group even though I am leaving — I want my (almost) former co-workers to be able to lose some weight if they want to, and have NO REASON to miss a meeting!

I found this post today and it totally made me laugh. I had to share it with you– I wish I would have thought of this. Meg is totally a gal I could hang out with- we are both too lazy to walk to Starbucks 2 blocks away! ;-) http://www.2birds1blog.com/2009/07/craigslist-coffee-challenge.html
